Mediclinic Panorama Hospital Visiting Hours
09:00 to 20:00, with a rest period from 13:00 to 15:00
Two visitors are allowed per patient in the general units and two in intensive care. In the children's unit one parent may stay around the clock at the bedside and the other is subject to the normal limits, and a same-day surgical patient may be accompanied by a family member. The hospital also runs support groups for families living with Alzheimer's, diabetes, cardiac disease and multiple sclerosis.

Mediclinic Panorama Hospital is a 400-bed private hospital in Panorama, Cape Town, part of the Mediclinic group. It opened in August 1986 as the first hospital the group ever built, and has ten general theatres, a hybrid theatre, three heart catheterisation laboratories and two open heart theatres. The first transcatheter aortic valve replacement in the hospital was done in October 2010, the electrophysiology laboratory has passed three hundred cryo ablations since 2011, and fetoscopic laser treatment for twin-to-twin transfusion has been offered since 2014.
