Kingsbury is one of the few hospitals here that welcomes healthy children of 12 and over as visitors; younger ones wait in reception with an adult unless arrangements are made. Parents have open access to the paediatric ward and neonatal ICU, and a husband or partner may be in maternity from 08:00 to 20:00, though the hospital recommends a rest hour from 13:00 to 14:00. Grandparents get their own maternity slot at 11:00. For visits outside these hours, check in at reception rather than going straight up.
