Rosepark allows only one visitor per patient at a time and no children at all, which is stricter than most Life hospitals. In exchange the general wards open four times a day, including an early half hour at 07:30 that no other hospital here offers. One parent or grandparent may live in with an admitted child. Neonatal and paediatric ICU times are set with the parents individually, with grandparents allowed on Sunday afternoons. Free Life EMS paramedic cover extends 150km around Bloemfontein.
