Midmed's maternity unit is open right through from 10:00 to 19:00, and fathers from 06:00 to 21:00, but it bars anyone under 16, which is stricter than the usual under-12 rule. The neonatal ICU is parents only, with grandparents allowed on Sundays. Both parents may be in the paediatric unit from 11:00 to 20:15 and one may stay overnight. Medical and surgical ICU opens for only half an hour late morning. Two visitors per patient at a time everywhere, alternating if there are more of you.
