Life Anncron Hospital is a 160-bed private hospital in Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp, run by Life Healthcare. It is the pioneering cardiology unit for the central North West, with five theatres, a burns-capable emergency unit and a Life EMS response vehicle covering an 80km radius of Klerksdorp.

Life Anncron Hospital Visiting Hours

Visiting times

General wards and specialised care units, Monday to Sunday
11:30 to 12:00
15:00 to 16:00
19:15 to 20:00

Anncron streamlined these times in December 2025 and holds visitors to two per patient per visiting hour. The middle slot is the only one longer than 45 minutes. No children under 12 in the general wards, and in the neonatal ICU only grandparents may visit. One parent may sleep in with an admitted child, and parents may swap that over with the unit manager. The main entrance closes at 20:30, so the evening slot really does end on time.
