- Burns and scarring, hand injuries, cleft lip and palate, skin cancer removal, breast reconstruction after cancer, and cosmetic concerns.
Procedures and tests
- Skin grafts and flaps, scar revision, hand surgery, breast reconstruction and reduction, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery.
When to see one
- After a burn, a serious cut to the hand or face, or surgery that has left a defect. For cosmetic work, check the surgeon is registered with the HPCSA as a plastic surgeon.
