The hospital serves patients from Kokstad, Swartberg, Franklin and Mzimkulu with cross borders from Mt Ayliff, Ntabankulu, Mt Frere, Lesotho and Bizana. The hospital was the first to be awarded Baby Friendly Status in the Sisonke district.
