Town Hill Hospital Visiting Hours
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 10:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 16:30
North Park ward, weekdays 16:00 to 17:00
North Park ward, weekends and public holidays 10:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 17:00
Town Hill runs two timetables, and which one applies depends on the ward. General wards see visitors from 15:00 on weekdays, with an extra morning hour at weekends and on public holidays. The North Park psychotherapy unit starts an hour later on weekdays and stays open until 17:00 at weekends. Children under 12 may not visit any ward except the Child and Adolescent Unit, which is a firm rule rather than a guideline. If you are travelling from another district and cannot make these times, phone the ward in advance and ask for permission to come at a set time; the hospital arranges this regularly. A quick call to 033 342 0176 before you set out will save you a wasted trip.
