Groenkloof states plainly that there is no morning visiting, so do not plan one. ICU opens 45 minutes later than the wards in the afternoon and runs a shorter slot. The hospital has a stroke unit reached on 012 424 3665: if someone's face droops, an arm drifts down or their speech slurs, go straight to an emergency unit rather than waiting for visiting hours. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor open from 07:00 on weekdays if you arrive early.
